DSR aur Inventory ka Relationship

Retail store ka DSR (Daily Sales Report) sirf sales ka hi record nahi hota, balki uska strong connection hota hai aapke inventory ke movement se bhi. Agar aap inventory ka sahi track nahi rakhte, toh DSR incomplete ya misleading ho sakta hai.

Inventory aur DSR ka Basic Connection:

• Jo item becha gaya woh inventory se minus hona chahiye
• Jo item receive hua woh inventory mein add hona chahiye
• Returns, damages ya shrinkage ka record inventory aur DSR dono mein reflect hona chahiye

Simple Inventory Table (Dummy Example):

DSR mein kya-kya reflect hona chahiye:

• Sales Qty: Inventory se match karna chahiye
• Sale Value: Price x Qty (GST inclusive ya exclusive)
• Return Qty aur Value: Inventory mein wapas add ho jata hai
• Damage / Shrinkage: Alag se adjust hota hai (stock-out hone ke bina becha hua dikhe toh alert!)

Tips to Maintain Inventory-DSR Link:

1. Sales aur Inventory software sync hone chahiye (POS + ERP)
2. Daily sales closing ke saath inventory closing bhi maintain karein
3. Physical stock audit weekly ya monthly karein
4. Mismatch hone par reason likhna zaroori hai

Example:

Suppose aapne 50 unit ka opening stock rakha, 20 aur receive kiya aur 30 bech diya. Toh DSR mein 30 units ki sale aur inventory mein 40 closing stock dikhna chahiye. Agar mismatch hai, toh ya toh entry missing hai ya system error hai.
